“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” — Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
Devotional:
There is nothing accidental about your life. You were designed, chosen, and appointed for purpose. While circumstances may try to convince you otherwise, God’s plans for you have not changed. Every detour, every delay, every disappointment may have felt like it was pulling you off track, but heaven has not altered its agenda for your life.
When we pray, we come into alignment with God’s divine purpose. Prayer isn’t just about presenting our requests—it’s a sacred exchange where God reveals His will, redirects our steps, and reminds us that our story is part of something greater.
It’s easy to look at our past mistakes, hardships, or current struggles and question whether we are still on the path God designed. But Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God’s thoughts toward us are good. He has an expected end—an appointed destiny filled with hope, purpose, and victory.
Sister, you are positioned for purpose. Where you are today is not by accident. Whether in a waiting season, a transition, or the middle of breakthrough, know this: Your prayers are aligning you with the next chapter of your calling. Keep seeking Him. Keep showing up in faith. Purpose is unfolding.
Reflection:
Where in my life do I need to realign with God’s purpose?
Am I praying over my purpose regularly and intentionally?
What does God’s “expected end” for me look like in this season?
Prayer:
Father, thank You that Your plans for me are good and filled with hope. Even when I feel uncertain or weary, remind me that I am positioned for purpose. Align my heart with Your will. Open my ears to hear You, my eyes to see Your direction, and my spirit to discern Your voice. Strengthen me to walk boldly in my assignment. In Jesus’ name, amen.
